Lessons from the NET 🎾:

Yesterday I played mixed doubles with my husband Robert for a 9.0 USTA match. We had been coached by my sweet Father in Law to be encouraging during the match and only let our partner know what WE ourselves are going to do - don't tell THEM what to do. We lost the first set 4-6 and I resisted the urge to ask my husband to stop hitting to the 5.0 man - I just told him that I was going to stand very close to the net. And I was positive and kind. We easily won the 2nd set 6-2!!! It was an amazing feat!!! Even though we ended up losing the 3rd set tiebreaker - we played GREAT!!! #ilovemydoublespartner
