Developed and tested over 4 years with Sorbothane. Tests were performed on elite athletes and sports enthusiasts that had joint pain or prior surgery. Testers stated pain relief from plantar fasciitis, ankle pain, Achilles tendon injuries, knee pain, hip pain, and back pain. (Your experience may vary)
RTP Heel Pad XC was developed by Sky Kim. He had OCD (Osteochondritis Dissecans) since the age of 7. While playing tennis in the top group in every age division and playing professionally he had 2 knee surgeries but the pain had never gone away. Ultimately his knee pain was so severe he had to retire from professional tennis at age 26.
After living and coping with knee pain all his life, he was finally able to find a solution. While testing regular insoles and heel pads, he realized it was too uncomfortable and sometimes it would cause more harm than good. With Sorbothane, he was able to develop a heel pad that was thin enough to absorb massive amounts of shock. The result was hard to explain in words. The knee pain he had his whole life was almost gone. The bonus was that the back pain he had since he was 18 was completely gone.
